We may not be responsible for the way the world creates our mind, but we can learn to take the responsibility for the mind with which we create our world.

I am a mum to two teenagers and a rather ‘unique’ rescue dog, who has taught me the art of patience.
Like everyone I’ve had my ups and downs in life and I am sure life has more in store!

Being a therapist has taught me about what I value and what matters most to me in life. The strategies that I now use have helped me to better handle and respond to life's challenges, so that I can live a richer and more meaningful life.

I genuinely believe in what I do and how I can help you.
My Approach
I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist accredited with the BABCP. Alongside my private practice, I work as a therapist within NHS primary mental health services and have over 25 years experience working as a healthcare professional in both the NHS and the private sector.
I started my career as a Nurse, specialising in supporting people with Learning Disabilities (RNLD) and through this role I developed my interest in neurodiversity and the importance of making therapy accessible to all.
I believe therapy to be a team approach where we explore and unpick what’s going on for you, what’s keeping you feeling stuck and identify ways you can move forward.
I value open communication and strive to create an environment where you feel heard and understood. I do not view myself as the expert because you know yourself better than anyone else. What I bring to you is my knowledge of psychology and evidence based strategies, alongside a friendly, down to earth approach, enthusiasm and dedication in supporting you to reach your goals.
